"Over the last 20 years, there has been a huge change in the growing secularism of American church-related colleges,” said William Hamm, ’66, Hon.D. ’86. Hamm is President of the Foundation for Independent Higher Education in Washington, D.C.

“Wartburg intertwines a vibrant faith commitment with a fine liberal arts program. The fact that it’s been preserved is an enormous asset, not just for Wartburg and Wartburg people, but for society as a whole. As a Wartburg alum, I view it as a responsibility to donate and provide the same opportunities for the next generation.”
