May Term Trips
Germany
Martin Luther called Eisenach, Germany his "beloved city." It was also the early home of a young Johann Sebastian Bach. More recently, Eisenach has been the "sister city" to Waverly, Iowa for more than a decade and is now host to a number of residential communication arts field experiences during select May Terms.
Communication Arts majors have used these May Term experiences to complete arranged and independent studies and internships at sites such as General Motors/Opel, The Wartburg Castle, Wartburg Radio, and the Eisenach Jazz Archive, all located in this scenic East German city in the heart of the Thuringian Forest.
