"Wartburg’s
Business Administration program is complemented by the Leadership
Certification that I’m adding. I’ve set up a flexible
individualized plan of classes and projects that will help
me make a difference as a leader. I hope to own a business
someday, and what I’ve learned about servant-leadership
should help me to run it more effectively.
My experience
in Ritterchor (men’s choir) was great preparation for
joining the Wartburg Choir. I had the privilege of touring
with them to Europe and South Africa during May Term. It was
a life-changing experience that I’ll never forget."

"Wartburg
College has an exceptional scholastic program. Professors
are able and more than willing to help students outside of
class. Our Pathways Center has proven itself to be very helpful
when preparing a resume or reviewing a term paper. Wartburg
also gives students the opportunity to intern with numerous
companies and/or do research with professors. Here students
are encouraged to be active in sports, student organizations
and other programs. Creating strong lifelong relationships,
being active outside the classroom, and obtaining those valuable
real life work experiences are what Wartburg does best for
students!"

"I
aspire to be someone who is not afraid of making difficult
decisions, but at the same time developing a strong set of
personal and social values.
My choice
to study at Wartburg has been a great decision. You will find
very smart and friendly people here who will challenge the
way you think, influence the person you are becoming, and
transform your perspective of the world forever.”

"The business department
has helped me be able to double major in Accounting and Business
Administration/Marketing, which are typically not associated
together. The business department has worked extremely hard
to allow me take an unusual field study this May Term as only
a sophomore. Words cannot express how much I learned studying
abroad, which I would have never been exposed to had I been
in a typical classroom setting."

Administration-Marketing, Anamosa, IA

"I came
to Wartburg because the people were awesome. They were friendly
and made me feel comfortable. I came to Wartburg as a Computer
Information Systems major and found out by the end of my freshman
year that I wanted to switch to Business. Changing my major
was simple and I had a new advisor in a day.
This year I was
able to work at a real estate firm in Waverly through the
internship program. Wartburg does a really good job in making
sure we are ready for the “real world”. They take
you through what I like to call a four-step process: 1. They
teach you through textbooks; 2. They have you apply what you
learned with hands-on experience; 3. They help you find an
internship; and 4. They then help you find a job. Wartburg
has done an amazing job in preparing me for the workforce."

Corpstein, Business Administration – Management, Waverly,

“Wartburg
College is a great place to receive higher education. I
have learned to be more responsible and more independent.
The
professors know students on a first name basis and are available
for help outside of class time. Students also have
access to top-notch facilities. The overall atmosphere
makes college life more enjoyable.”
