The business administration and economics department prepares students for a wide variety of careers in business and continued study in graduate school. With majors in business administration, accounting, and economics and concentrations in finance, international business, management, marketing, and sport management, students have many options for fashioning a career that will suit their interests.
You will benefit from small classes taught by professors who have experience and expertise in many aspects of business administration, accounting, and economics. Faculty members mentor students for careers as well as for active citizenship through classroom experience, internships, case studies, and undergraduate research.
A flexible business minor allows students to add a business component to majors in other disciplines, such as religion, communication arts, psychology, biology, or English. The majority of the department's majors leave Wartburg having completed at least one internship. In addition, you will have a chance to study abroad or take classes and complete internships through Wartburg West in Denver, Colo.
