BIOLOGY

Senior
As
a senior pre-med biology major at Wartburg College, you
should make sure you:
- Fill
out and complete the secondary application that schools
contact you about.
- Promptly ask that letters
of recommendation [Click
here to see "Letters of Evaluation: What Students
Should Know"] be sent to these schools by
your chosen letter writers.
- Begin preparing for your
medical school interview.
- Letters
of acceptance and rejection begin arriving in mid-March.
- Be prepared to implement
your Plan B.
- Notify
those who wrote letters on your behalf of the outcome.
In
terms of coursework:
- Make
sure your enroll in BI455-BI456 (student research).
- Histology
(BI401 ) is generally quite helpful in medical school.
- Continue
to consult your advisor for graduation requirements.
- Take
a fun and interesting elective! You've worked hard, expand
your horizons and have fun with your final year in undergraduate
school.
