Point Average
Your grade point average
(GPA), most specifically the GPA you attain in your science
courses is a very important admissions criteria. Most M.D.
medical schools admit students between a 3.6-3.7 overall
GPA, while D.O.
medical schools admit students between 3.4-3.5 GPA, and
podiatry schools admit
students with an approximate 3.25 GPA.

you to calculate what grades you need to attain a target
GPA.
