Thursday April 28, 2010 - leaving Wartburg ­ travel to St. Paul/Minneapolis or Chicago Airport. Flight to Miami then Georgetown, Guyana.

Friday, April 29 - arrive Georgetown, Guyana. Reside at Roop's Guest House. Cots and mosquito netting supplied. Banking, get food, touring Georgetown. Visit DIH Industries, local farm, sugar plantation.

To the interior via a big truck. 8-10 hours through the rainforest

Arrive at Surama late evening. Stay in cabins. Caiman tracking, River life, day hikes, projects. Visit islands, Caiman and snake tracking at night, petro glyphs, wildlife, fishing, Observe cassava making, visit with the school kids, Rupununi Savanna and rainforest, Day hikes, village life. Few days

Head to Remote Camp in the rainforest. Carry out projects ­ 4-6 days

Back to Surama, then Annai. Bunk down with hammocks at Rockview. Rupununi Savanna. Next day fly to Kaieteur Falls for the day then to Georgetown at Roop's place.

Georgetown, some tourist stuff, visit museums, shopping, possible visit with Prime Minister, etc. Last banking and packing and clean up then off to airport to Trinidad. Stay on St. Ann's street just above downtown.

In Trinidad visit North Coast Beaches & environs. Panyards evening. ASA Wright Center, Port of Spain Downtown, Caroni Swamp, shopping, trip to Tobago

Wednesday, May 25, 5:30 a.m. to Port of Spain Airport to St.Paul/Minneapolis via Miami. Then bus to Wartburg College. We will all return to campus as you will be debriefing with instructors on May 26.
