The college will raffle off this 1998 Yamaha VMax motorcycle, with proceeds going to benefit the Dr. Jack and Kris Ohle Scholarship Fund.

The bike was a gift to Dr. Ohle from motorcycle enthusiast Oscar “Ozzie” Scofield ’63 of Winston-Salem, N.C. When Ohle became president of Gustavus Adolphus College, he donated the motorcycle to the college.

Wartburg will sell no more than 100 tickets at $100 each. The prize package also will include a helmet, gloves, T-shirt, and Gold Club Membership from J&P Motorcycles in Anamosa, Iowa.

The winner will be announced at Homecoming 2008 (need not be present to win).
