We hope you can take the time to visit us on Education Visit Day. The day is designed to give you a real “feel” for what Wartburg and the Education Department are all about. Learn about early field experiences that will help you determine if teaching is the career for you. Discover unique programs that take you into the schools of New York City and Denver, Colorado.

9-9:30 a.m. - Registration, Saemann Student Center

9:30-9:45 a.m. -  Welcome
Introduction and preview of the day's activities

9:45-10:05 a.m. -  Admissions and Financial Aid Presentation

10:05-10:30 a.m. - What it's like being an Education major at Wartburg

10:30-11 a.m. - Meet the Education Professors

11-11:50 a.m. - Lunch, The Mensa, Saemann Student Center
Enjoy a complimentary lunch with Education Students and Professors

12-1:05 p.m. - Students:  Attend an Education Class of Your Choice
  • ED 100:  Foundations of American Education
  • ED 212:  Human Relations
  • ED 354:  Organization of Early Childhood Programs 

12-1:05 p.m. - Parents:  Panel

1:15-2:15 p.m.  - Campus Tour
