Campus Life
at Wartburg
| The
life of a typical Wartburg student can be summed up in one
word: orange. Orange is much
more than just a color at Wartburg. It's being part of a dynamic
learning community. It's about being challenged by professors
who care about you. It's experiencing the friendly smiles
on campus. It's the excitement of discovering more about yourself
and others. It's about service and connections to the world.
It's life changing. Click

Residential
Hall Life
Most Wartburg
students live on campus. This close living-learning community
fosters lively dialog, stimulating interaction, and lots of
fun. The college offers a variety of living environments,
from rooms to suites. Seniors have the option of living in
Knights Village, a group of townhouses that include spacious
rooms and full kitchens in each apartment. Click

Academic
Life
Wartburg's excellent reputation is based mostly on its nationally
recognized academic departments.
The professors are dedicated to teaching and enjoy working
with students. They know you by name and take a personal
interest in your activities inside and outside the classroom.
They help you secure internships and get into graduate school.
They involve you in their research projects. They accompany
you on May Term trips throughout the year.
Facilities
and Technology
Recently named one of the 50 "Most Wired" campuses
according to Yahoo Internet Life Magazine, Wartburg facilities
are new and use cutting-edge technology. The entire campus,
including the residence halls, is networked with high speed
Internet connections. Take a virtual
tour.

Dining Options
Wartburg offers several dining options
for students who live on campus. Most meals are served in the
Mensa (German for university cafeteria). The Den is a restaurant
with additional options. The Konditorei is a coffee shop with
tasty sandwiches and pastries, located in the Vogel Library.
Spiritual
Life
You will find an environment ready to explore the deeper issues
of life in every classroom and in every subject. Because Wartburg
is open to students of all faiths, you will learn more about your
own faith while you learn to appreciate the beliefs of others.
Through campus ministry, students
get involved in outreach to the elderly, provide music for churches
and retreats, organize lock-ins and youth programs for congregations,
participate in service trips, and advocate for human rights and
social justice.
