Application Process

1. Apply for admission free. Complete and submit the application form (PDF) or apply online.

2. Send transcripts, secondary school report (PDF), and academic recommendations (PDF). Official transcripts of all high school and/or college work and ACT or SAT scores. Also be sure to have the academic recommendation ( to be completed by a teacher or college professor in a core subject area) and the secondary school report ( to be completed by your guidance counselor) sent to the Admissions office. Both forms are in the application.

3. Transfer students must also submit a Transfer Reference Form (PDF). Transfer students with an associate's degree from an accredited community college are guaranteed admission.

Admission is selective
Wartburg is selective in granting admission to graduates from accredited high schools and colleges. The college limits enrollment of first-year and transfer students. Admission is on a rolling basis. Students who apply are considered on the basis of their probable success.
