More than 500 on Winter, May Dean’s List

WAVERLY, Iowa — The Wartburg College Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs has released the 2009 Winter Term and May Term Dean’s List.

To be placed on the Dean’s List for Winter and May terms, a student must earn a 3.5 grade point (on a 4.0 scale) in at least five course credits during the two terms. Four of the five course credits must be graded with a traditional letter grade.

Wartburg is a private liberal arts college that has been nationally recognized for community engagement. It is named for the Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, Germany, where Martin Luther found refuge during the stormy days of the Reformation. The college enrolls 1,799 students from 27 U.S. states and 39 countries.
