Former President Bill Clinton to visit Wartburg College

Former Democratic President Bill Clinton will visit Wartburg College Thursday, Jan. 28, to campaign on behalf of his wife and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The event begins at 11 a.m. in Knights Ballroom of the Saemann Student Center. Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. The event will be live-streamed at https://www.wartburg.edu/knightvision/.

The “Get Out the Caucus” event is one of several Iowa stops in the days leading up to the caucuses on Feb. 1.

Hillary Clinton served as the 67th United States Secretary of the State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013 and was a senator representing New York from 2001 to 2009.

The College and Black Student Union partnered to bring Rodney Lewis of Rodney's Kitchen in Waterloo to campus to prepare a traditional Black meal for dinner in Mensa as part of the College and organization's celebration of Black History Month, as reported by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.
